My name is Niklas. I take pictures with my cellphone.
With approximately 2.53 billion smartphone users world wide in 2018*, mobile photography is very likely to be the most ubiquitous form of photography there ever was. It's the Brillo boxes and Campbell's tomato soup cans of today. It's a huge part of everyday pop and consumer culture.
That being said I should be honest and tell you that what I do is not a conceptual work of art, it's just my lack of money that makes me use my smartphone as a real camera.
I shoot with my smartphone because I had to sell my bigger camera, and as soon as I can afford a "real" camera I will buy one again. But for now I embrace my iPhone 6s with all it's smaller and bigger flaws as a go to camera.
At the moment I'm based in Berlin and it looks like that's not going to change in the near future, but probably in the not so near future. We'll see.
Anyways, thank you for stopping by and drop me a DM if you like : )
Have a fabulous day,
